Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a within a well-established mechanical and electrical engineering company. To provide administration and coordination support to the QHSE Manager and Project Managers regarding Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance activities across the business

Key Duties



Providing general administration / coordination support activities to the QHSE Manager and the Project teams.

Assisting the Projects teams in producing RAMS, Site Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks & COSHH Assessments as required.

Administration of eLearning & training requirements via our Citation Atlas system.

Maintaining / updating all employee training records and training requirements on our Citation Atlas System.

Carrying out site inspections / audits with Project Managers, Site Lead Engineers and the QHSE Manager to ensure compliance with RJC and Client HSE requirements.

Assist with the promotion of a safety culture on all sites.

Logging of nonconformities, opportunities for improvement, accidents & incidents.

Assisting Project Managers with the collation of project pre-start and project completion QHSE documentation.

Additional tasks



Assisting the QHSE Manager in developing the current RJC RAMS systems via Citation Atlas, in order to streamline the process so that it can be used by all staff.

Assist in the development and implementation of RJC procedures, work instructions, and forms.

Assisting the QHSE Manager with the RJC rebranding and document control process.

Assisting in the development of the Supplier & Subcontractor approval process.

Assisting with non-conformance investigations and tracking corrective & preventative actions where required.

Support continual improvement opportunities throughout the business.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, & annual reports and key communications where required.

Any other task as directed by your Line Manager and Company Directors.

Able to develop opportunities for improvement and assist in implementing innovative solutions.

Clean driving licence.

Desirable / An Advantage



IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage whether that be in a QHSE / HSE role or an administration role, or both.

Working knowledge of QHSE practices, general legislation, and regulatory requirements an advantage but not essential.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001Management Systems an advantage.

Trained internal auditor for any of the above ISO Management Systems an advantage but not essential.

Knowledge of MOD Safe Systems of Work an advantage but not essential.

Working knowledge of Citation Atlas system desirable but not essential.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
