Role Outline:



We are looking for a new QHSE & Facilities Manager to join our team in Telford, working across our departments including High Voltage Power Services. Engineering Manufacture and Production Workshops. The person will oversee our company buildings, grounds, and essential services to ensure a functional, safe, and efficient work environment for staff. Key responsibilities include managing maintenance, cleaning, security, and LOLER, PUWER, as well as the upkeep of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Also to handle strategic planning, budgets, vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. We work in Shropshire and in other locations around the UK/IE for clients or where their sites are located. The candidate needs to be able to provide a high level of service and provide our clients with things like Risk and COSHH Assessments, Construction Phase Plans, general advice and guidance, assistance with PQQs and SSiP submissions, and more. In addition, the role covers the organising of training to our employees for things like manual handling, asbestos awareness, risk assessment and other areas.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



You will be responsible for managing customer complaints and product defects and liaising with supply chain and internal personnel to provide a resolution. Knowledge of NCR process and 8D report is essential. You will manage your own workload and our customer base, ensuring each one has their needs met and additional requirements are identified. This may be gaps in Risk Assessments, the need for additional processes, or new training requirements to cover gaps in knowledge. You'll be expected to have the relevant knowledge at your fingertips to ensure advice can be given clearly and easily and be able to deliver courses on the relevant subjects with confidence. Site inspections will be required to clients' sites, both at their offices and construction sites wherever they may be working - this is usually around the UK/IE.

Knowledge and skills:



Experience working within an Engineering Environment

NEBOSH General Certificate - NEBOSH Construction Certificate is preferred.

Various other recognised H&S qualifications are necessary but not prescribed, each CV would be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
