We build and operate automated factories for composite materials, delivering components to Tier 1 and OEMs. The business has 3 main divisions that focus on the development of automated production machines, development of software design and production tools and lastly the operation of the factory.
Now working with >25 customers (multiple leading OEMs) and earlier this year we completed the largest ever Series A in composites manufacturing (link) to fuel a significant scale-up with growth plans that will see the business multiply in size over the next 2-3 years and expand operations into Europe and the US.
The business currently has facilities in Gloucester UK (Factory 1), Bristol UK (Hardware R&D Centre) and in Athens GR (Software R&D Centre).

As QHSE Manager you will be responsible for ensuring quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are met within the organization. You will develop, implement, and maintain the relevant management systems to minimize risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities:
This includes developing and updating policies, procedures, and documentation related to quality, health, safety, and environmental aspects.
Identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control measures to minimize accidents and incidents.
Ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and industry standards.
Fostering a proactive approach to safety, encouraging employee participation, and providing training and support.
Conducting internal audits, monitoring key performance indicators, and analyzing trends to identify areas for improvement.
Investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Acting as the primary point of contact for QHSE-related matters with customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
Identifying opportunities to improve QHSE performance, implementing best practices, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in a QHSE role within aerospace manufacturing.
Comprehensive knowledge of AS9100 is essential.
Strong knowledge of QHSE standards, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to lead and manage a team, influence stakeholders, and drive change.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to QHSE issues.
Relevant qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH certifications are preferred.
