Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled
QMS Controller
to oversee and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with
ISO 9001
standards. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing quality processes within a manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on
stage/type approvals
in vehicle production.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, and continually improve the company's QMS to ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
requirements.
Oversee
stage approval
processes to ensure vehicles meet all quality standards before progressing through production milestones.
Conduct internal audits, coordinate external audits, and lead corrective/preventive action initiatives.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Deliver training and guidance to staff on QMS processes and quality standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a QMS Controller, Quality Engineer, or similar role in
vehicle or heavy equipment manufacturing
.
In-depth knowledge of
ISO 9001
standards and auditing processes.
Strong understanding of
stage approval
procedures within truck or automotive production.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to quality control.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the business.
Relevant qualifications in quality management, engineering, or related field preferred.
