Job Description
Location: Hillingdon.
Pay Rate: 25-30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused and engaging tuition in GCSE Maths and English tailored to individual learning needs and curriculum goals.
- Identify areas of difficulty and develop personalised lesson plans to address learning gaps.
- Prepare students for exams with confidence- building strategies and revision support.
- Adapt your teaching style to suit a range of learners, including those with SEN needs.
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers or the wider educational team.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English at a GCSE level.
- Proven ability to break down complex topics in a way that is clear , practical, and engaging.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
- QTS/QTLS
- PGCE in Secondary Education or in a core subject/
- Experience supporting learners with SEN.
