We develop and certificate high-quality vocational qualifications that open doors for learners and support the needs of training providers, employers, and the wider economy.

Now, we're looking for a Qualifications Developer - a sharp thinker and creative problem-solver who's ready to help shape the future of regulated qualifications and courses in the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

This role sits at the core of our qualification development function. You'll play a pivotal part in designing, reviewing, and evolving qualifications that are not only compliant with regulatory framework bodies but also responsive to current market and industry demands.

Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting, developing and refining qualification content - units, levels, learning outcomes, and assessment criteria Reviewing the existing qualifications portfolio and making evidence-based recommendations for revision or withdrawal Leading or supporting the development of new qualifications aligned with emerging industry needs and company strategy Working closely with our External Quality Assessor (EQA) Services team to ensure that qualifications are deliverable, occupationally relevant, and compliant from day one Engaging with subject matter experts (SMEs) to confirm qualification content and ensure technical accuracy Maintaining accurate records in the qualification database and ProQual Management System Supporting the communication and promotion of new qualifications and updates to our network of centres and partners Liaising with standards setting bodies/

Who You Are

You could already be working in an Awarding Body or have experience in further education, training, or curriculum development. What matters most is your eye for detail, your understanding of regulated qualifications, and your passion for getting things right.

Essentials:

Solid knowledge of regulated vocational qualifications and regulatory frameworks Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and document accuracy Ability to balance compliance with creativity Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent standard of English and Maths

Desirables:

Experience working within or alongside an Awarding Body Familiarity with post-16 and vocational education sectors Experience engaging with SMEs and industry experts A teaching or training background
