We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join our team to support the business in further growing our flagship award-winning product: AIVR. AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review) is a state-of-the-art video technology system used by thousands of people in the rail industry. Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded qualified Accountant to join our collaborative finance team. This role is open to individuals who are fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA and who have a strong interest in financial management and business performance.
You will play a central role in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounts, management accounts analysis, and reporting across different areas of the business. As a commercially aware Accountant, you will have oversight of proposals and revenue opportunities in the UK and internationally to align with the strategic aims of the business.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with OBC key stakeholders to strengthen the Finance team's impact across the business.
Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Analyse and report on the monthly P&L and other financial reports.
Provide financial reporting across different areas of the business and develop International reporting.
Translate financial performance into meaningful insights, KPIs, and targets.
Support budget planning and forecasting processes.
Monitor and support compliance with tax requirements and regulatory changes.
Manage initiatives such as R&D tax credits and government schemes.
Play a key role in revenue growth projects.
Support the year-end audit process.
Identify and implement continuous improvements across finance processes and controls.
Informally mentor and support apprentice accountants.

Experience:
Qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
Experienced in monthly management reporting.
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, with experience using other Microsoft office softwares, and accounting packages (Sage, Xero, SAP).
