PJL Healthcare operates residential children's homes across East Sussex, supporting young people with learning disabilities, SEMH needs, and trauma backgrounds. Our goal is to create homes filled with

-- supported by an expert internal training team that also delivers external childcare training across the sector.

The Role

We're looking for a passionate

Qualified Assessor/Trainer

to deliver engaging residential childcare training, assess staff practice, and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality training sessions across residential childcare topics. Carry out staff assessments and practice observations. Support Team Teach delivery within PJL Healthcare. Identify individual and team training needs with Managers. Embed company values and best practice across all training. Promote safeguarding awareness and reflective learning.

About You

Essential:

Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent). Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent. Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills. Experience delivering or assessing childcare training. Knowledge of current childcare legislation and standards. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.

Desirable:

Level 5 Childcare qualification. L5 DET or L4 IQA qualification. Specialism in Early Years, Child Development, or similar.
