We are ?currently seeking applications? for ?enthusiastic ?and highly motivated individuals ?to fill the following posts within our established? Newton Farm Out Of School Care.
NEWTON FARM OUT OF SCHOOL CARE LEAD PRACTITIONER
UP TO 16.00 per hour, depending on level of skills/qualifications
Up to 20 hours/week - Monday to Friday (All Year-Round Contract with school holidays & In-Service days) or Term Time only.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team delivering a high quality out of school club service for children attending Newton Farm After School Care.
Applicants must hold, be currently working towards or be willing to work towards a relevant childcare qualification to allow them to register with the Scottish Social Services Council at practitioner level.
Qualified applicants will need a minimum of SVQ2/SVQ3 level qualification in childcare and experience of working with primary school-aged children. The applicant should be able to work as part of a team in the planning,?delivery?and evaluation of?a?high quality?out of school care?service.
This is a busy Out Of School Club and requires applicants to be eager to learn, participate in and undergo a tremendous amount of activities with the children onsite. The successful candidate will show an enthusiasm for children's learning and an understanding of how to create a safe and stimulating environment that provides school age children with opportunities for overall development.

Register at practitioner level with the Scottish Social Services Council.
Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
Work in the UK and have the relevant documents to prove this.
