We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to adhere to health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up with patients as necessary. Collaborate with other dental team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Stay updated on dental practices and technologies through continuous professional development.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management, including electronic health records. A valid nursing qualification or certification relevant to dental nursing is essential. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
