We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Nurse, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our patients and ensuring that all procedures run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and assist in managing appointments. Provide patients with information regarding treatments, procedures, and aftercare. Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times. Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide reassurance. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential.
