We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to join our growing team in a state-of-the-art private dental practice in Thornbury. We offer all services in house including Implants, aligners/orthodontics and sedation, and training in area's you wish to excel in will be readily supported.
Being a squat dental practice and having just been completely fit out, all the equipment, fixtures and fittings are brand new, creating an environment that is lovely to work in. We are fortunate to have a beautiful staff area, air cooled surgeries and be fully digital ... making for a more enjoyable working environment.

Experience in Implant nursing is preferred however not essential. Training can be given to upskill in this area.
The main duties will include:
Provide chair side assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
Assisting the Dentists and Practice Manager with all clinical aspects of the surgery, maintaining compliance standards throughout
Providing excellent patient care at every stage of the 5 patient journey Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications.
To engage in leadership and management of the wider team in order to ensure that the practice operates efficiently
Take on additional responsibility and tasks to support the dentist and the Practice Manager

Requirements:
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications
Someone who has the drive and ambition to succeed and has a hunger to progress in their Nursing career
Excellent organisational skills
Proficient in English, both spoken and written
IT skills for maintaining digital records
Strong focus on patient care and comfort
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
