We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients feel comfortable their treatment process while maintaining a well-organised and efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients are comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems efficiently. Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, and reminders to enhance patient experience. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, oral hygiene instructions, and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in dental nursing.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Dental Nursing. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment. IT skills to navigate dental software systems for record keeping and appointment management. Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.

Pay: 13.05-13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 30 per week
