We are seeking a Full Time Qualified Dental Nurse

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified and Registered with the GDC.

Responsible for maintaining cross infection control, equipment and materials.

Be flexible with a positive work ethic

Must have good communication skills

Have excellent people skills Have a friendly, approachable disposition with a 'can-do' attitude.

Be able to work well in a team and use own initiative when needed.

Duties Include:

Full Set-up and prepare the treatment room followed by decontamination

Prepare the necessary materials and instruments, making sure that equipment and instruments are in good working order and maintained regularly in accordance with practice policy.

Provide chair side support to the dentist, hygienist or therapist during treatment

Working with SOE software

Monitor and maintain stock within the surgery as necessary, informing the head nurse or practice manager

Follow all dental ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentiality

Check that all necessary laboratory work is returned and ready for each session

Assist in all clerical and administrative duties as required

Knowledge of SOE is very beneficial however not essential, training can be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour
