Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a well-organised clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment before and after use. Ensure that the treatment room is clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide reassurance. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using IT systems. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients as directed by the dentist. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required. Reception duties

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times. Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
