Job Summary:
We are an independent practice, seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The Dental Nurse will assist the dentist during patient procedures, perform various administrative tasks, and ensure the comfort and safety of our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to provide exceptional patient care.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments, passing instruments to the dentist, and providing suction
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist with dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients, including proper brushing and flossing techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling patient inquiries

- Help Maintain the cleanliness of the practice.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
-Proficient in clinical note taking & record keeping
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

-8h shifts
