The Role
We are seeking a
qualified, reliable, and compassionate Dental Nurse
to join our growing team at ODL and LOC.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care, enjoys working in a supportive team, and is eager to build their skills in a modern, digital, and orthodontic-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Provide chairside assistance for a wide range of treatments including Invisalign, restorative, cosmetic, implant, and hygiene.
Maintain the highest cross-infection control standards in line with CQC and HTM 01-05.
Prepare surgeries and equipment, ensuring smooth clinical workflows.
Process instruments through decontamination/sterilisation and maintain accurate records.
Patient Care
Deliver a calm, professional, and reassuring experience for patients.
Support patients with pre- and post-treatment care guidance.
Be a friendly, approachable point of contact during their treatment journey.
Teamwork & Operations
Work collaboratively with the nursing and reception teams across both sites.
Assist with stock control, ordering, and keeping surgeries fully equipped.
Contribute to the smooth running of the practice by supporting colleagues when needed.
Professional Development
Maintain full compliance with GDC standards and CPD requirements.
Take part in training sessions to expand your skills, especially in orthodontic and digital dentistry.
Requirements
GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
At least 3 years of dental nursing experience (orthodontic/cosmetic/implant knowledge is an advantage but not essential).
Strong knowledge of infection control and dental compliance.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
