Overview

We are seeking a skilled and confident Dental Nurse (Qualified) to join our dental practice in providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and organised individual with excellent communication skills. Full or Part-Time hours considered, shifts will be 8 hours between the hours of 8am-6pm (either 3, 4 or 5 days per week), no weekends.

Duties

- Assisting dentists and/or therapists during various dental procedures

- Providing chairside support to patients with an empathetic and caring approach

- Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and surgery space

- Maintain dental compliance in Decontamination tasks and Surgery checks

- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records

- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and advice on the benefits of our retail products

- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as required

- Effective communication with patients in relation to their treatment journeys

- Using IT systems for patient management

Experience

- Successful candidate will be a qualified Dental Nurse and registered with GDC

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English

- Strong organisational skills

- Ability to provide exceptional patient care

- Experience nursing for Implant treatments - Desireable

- Familiarity with Dental IT systems includuing R4, DTX and Rego - Desireable

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.77 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
