Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient needs, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent nursing skills with a solid understanding of dental procedures and protocols. Strong IT skills to manage electronic health records and practice management software. Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 12.27-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
