Purpose of the Role

As a Dental Nurse at Comiston Dental, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring the smooth running of our practice. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, assisting the dentist with procedures, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Assist the dentist with all aspects of dental procedures. Provide chairside assistance, including suctioning, passing instruments, and preparing materials. Take accurate patient records and photographs.

Clinical Management:

Ensure the surgery is fully stocked and prepared for each appointment. Maintain a clean and organised working environment. Manage lab work, including receiving and sending. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

Teamwork:

Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide the best possible patient care. Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
