Overview

.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse, on a part time basis, (anticipated 2/3 days), to join our friendly and supportive team, in a part-time capacity, here in one of the longest, established Dental Practices in the area. And giving the successful candidate the opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge

Our Practice has recently changed hands and is now family run, with many exciting changes taking place. In addition to our previous range of Dentistry treatments. We now include Dental Implants, Expert Root Canal Treatments, Cosmetic Dentistry and Professional Facial Aesthetics.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth operation within the practice. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT systems to manage patient records effectively

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories. Manage appointments and ensure efficient scheduling of patient visits. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and address any questions or concerns they may have. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained at all times. Stay updated with the latest developments in dental practices and technologies.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to healthcare. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with patients and colleagues. Relevant Dental Nursing qualifications or experience is essential. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
