Kings Dental Flitwick is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and friendly

Qualified Dental Nurse and Receptionist

to join our growing team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-facing environment and is passionate about delivering excellent care and customer service.

You will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a warm and professional atmosphere while supporting both clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be confident, compassionate, well-organised, and skilled in both dental nursing and reception duties.

Key Responsibilities

Reception Duties:

Warmly welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment bookings. Process payments and manage billing queries accurately. Maintain and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality. Send patient recalls and reminders. Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Dental Nursing Duties:

Prepare and close down surgeries in line with infection control protocols. Assist the dentist chairside and accurately record clinical notes. Carry out decontamination and sterilisation procedures. Ensure the day list is checked for required materials and lab work in advance. Order dental materials and manage stock levels. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with CQC standards.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered or in training) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Preferred but not essential:

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting Familiarity with SOE Exact dental software Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
