We are a welcoming, modern private dental practice in Hornsey, North London, and we're looking for a

Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist

to join our friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is professional, caring, and organised -- with the flexibility to support both clinical and reception duties.

our ideal candidate would be available for a full-time position (up to 5 days/week)

About the Role

You'll play a key role in delivering excellent patient care -- both in the surgery and at the front desk. This is a varied position combining chairside dental nursing and reception/administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance to dentists, hygienists, and therapists -- passing instruments, mixing materials, suctioning, and ensuring the smooth delivery of treatments Set up treatment rooms, prepare materials and equipment, and maintain instruments to high standards of cleanliness and safety Follow infection prevention and decontamination protocols, and manage waste disposal appropriately Assist with dental radiographs, CBCT scanning, and digital impressions (depending on training) Help with reception duties including welcoming patients, managing appointments, and updating records Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality at all times Support the team with administrative and clerical tasks as needed Maintain GDC registration, professional indemnity, and ongoing CPD

What We're Looking For

? GDC-registered Dental Nurse (required)
? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
? A positive, flexible, and professional approach
? Experience working with dental specialists (e.g., Implants, Ortho, Endo, Perio) is an advantage
? CBCT and intraoral scanner experience is a plus
? Being local to the area is desirable but not essential
