We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up with patients as needed. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, managing patient information, and supporting practice administration tasks. Collaborate effectively with other dental professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Dental Nursing or equivalent experience is essential. Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for patients. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to foster strong relationships with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Familiarity with IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous but not required.
