The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting dental professionals in delivering effective treatments. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that the dental practice runs smoothly while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and aftercare.
Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
Skills
Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and managing appointments.
Previous experience as a nurse is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
