Job Description

We're looking for a dental nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.

Rates of pay for qualified nurses start from 13, with increased rates available for applicants with additional qualifications or responsibility, e.g. radiography qualification or experience of implant nursing.

Hours available Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 5:30pm

Saturday hours are also available but not essential for this role: 8:45am - 2:15pm alternate weeks

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Welcoming and caring for patients, providing an excellent patient experience. Providing chair-side support to dentists. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control. Ensuring the dental surgery is set up with the equipment and materials needed for treatment. Organising and stocking the dental surgery. Setting up the decontamination of instruments. Supporting the clinical team as needed. Maintaining stock and ordering supplies. Assisting with lab tasks as needed. Assisting with front office tasks as needed.
You will need to be able to demonstrate:

Excellent standards of patient care and a commitment to patient satisfaction. Excellent communication and teamwork skills and a friendly and positive attitude. Being highly motivated and eager to learn. Being organised and able to plan and complete work efficiently and effectively. Good computer literacy.
