We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Qualified Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.
Duties
Administer medications accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and patient interactions.
Assist in inventory management, including the ordering and restocking of pharmaceuticals.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards within the pharmacy.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Proven experience in medication administration and patient care.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
