Job Summary



We are on the search for a unique, driven and passionate individual to join our growing team. With a proven track record of three successful areas of business, we are now looking to expand. Are you Mantrailing certified? Or do you have skills in scent work or agility? Have you worked within the industry training dogs with loose lead, puppy socialising, anxiety or aggression? We are ideally looking for someone who is IMDT qualified or holds qualifications within the dog training field. Someone who would prefer to work as part of a team rather than completely go it alone running their own business (believe me, it's not easy!).

Duties



Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs of various breeds and ages. Develop customised training programmes tailored to the specific needs of each dog and owner. Demonstrate effective training techniques to pet owners, ensuring they understand how to reinforce good behaviour at home. Maintain a safe and clean training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Provide ongoing support and guidance to pet owners throughout the training process. Monitor the progress of each dog, adjusting training methods as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Demonstrate an ability to run successful group classes in scent work, agility, socialising and puppy school. Collaborate with veterinary professionals when necessary to address any health or behavioural issues.

Qualifications



Proven experience in animal care, particularly with dogs, is essential. Minimum Level 3 Qualified in Animal Management Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable, as strong communication skills are vital for this role. Proven ability to deliver 1:1 training sessions Proven ability to run group classes A background in veterinary care or knowledge of canine health issues is advantageous. A willingness to deliver social media content to our Digital Marketing Manager, providing key information and 'client journeys' Ability to be skilled in Mantrailing, Scent work or agility so we can deliver new offerings of classes Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training techniques based on individual dog behaviours. A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their welfare.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
