Duties include, but not limited to:
Work with an ethos of respect and professionalism.
Understand that each child is an individual and have a sound knowledge of childcare.
Take responsibility for each child's progress.
Report on achievements and complete child development profiles on a weekly basis.
Develop positive relationships with parents & guardians.
Supervise children indoors and outdoors at all times.
To ensure that the environments are inviting and resourced efficiently.
Take responsibility for ensuring that planning is child focused.
Be responsible for maintaining a stimulating and attractive nursery environment.
Actively participate in nursery events such as parents evening, play and stay.
Take responsibility for nursery resources.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities, including appraisals.
Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
Ensure the general cleanliness of the children at all times.
Be familiar with all emergency and security procedures.
To be familiar with and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Be aware and act upon children's individual needs.
Develop and deliver age and stage appropriate activities.
Ensure that all practice is inclusive to all the children.

Ensure you have good understanding and knowledge of safeguarding.
You MUST hold a level 3 certificate in child development.
