Job Description

We are seeking experienced and energetic qualified Early years practitioners at our beautiful forest school setting Buttercup Barn in Newton St Loe.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of the EYFS and must have a passion for creating fun and exciting learning opportunities. All applicants should hold a minimum level 2 qualification and a love the outdoors, walks and outside play.

We are looking for staff passionate about early years education and care. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, work well as part of a small team and be confident in liaising with children's families.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a clear love for working with children 6 months to five years and be committed to supporting children's early learning and development in line with the early years foundation stage.

Successful candidates will have respect and a clear understanding of our duty to safeguard children. You will be expected to adhere to the Nursery's policies and procedures. The position is subject to a full DBS check and completion of a full induction and training.

We are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 0730-1800.

The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and completion of a full induction, all conducted by the nursery.
