Job Description

We have a position available for a part time qualified early years practitioner within our under two's age group. This position is for 24-28 hours per week, comprising of 4 half days per week and 1 full day.

We have a strong focus on outdoor learning, and have endless opportunities available to us within our country park setting where the children of all age groups enjoy daily outings.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being of each child.
- Maintain a clean and organised playroom environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children.
- Ability to adapt experiences and activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Strong organisational skills to effectively manage playroom materials and resources.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
