Job Description

Little Angels nursery is looking for a fully qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and professional team. The candidate must hold an SVQ level 3, HNC or NNEB qualification and have experience of working within a nursery environment

30 hours per week, worked over 5 days Monday - Friday.

Essential Experience

A willingness to undertake further statutory training as and when required. Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council You must be passionate about working with children enabling the best possible outcomes for each individual child. As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child's needs are met Prioritise the safeguarding of children all children within our care Attend staff meetings monthly, parents' evenings, and relevant training sessions. Build close relationships with parents and carers and report daily on their child's time at nursery at handover and through class dojo Have a creative and imaginative flair, be able to plan and prioritise tasks within the playroom Be able to use own initiative and have a can-do approach. Remain up to date with our childcare policies and procedures and risk assessments as well as having sound knowledge of Realising the Ambition, My World Outdoors, Health and Social Care Standards, and the Self Evaluation process (HGIOELC).
