About the Role

We're looking for a qualified Electrician to join the Deege Upvolt Installations Team.

You don't need prior solar experience. We provide full training, mentoring, and ongoing support to help you transition into residential solar and battery installations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of residential solar PV and battery systems, working alongside a Roofer as part of a two-person installation team. This is a field-based role covering primarily the South of England, with occasional work in the Midlands.

Install, commission, and maintain residential solar PV systems Install and maintain battery storage systems Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and system faults Ensure all work meets electrical standards and health & safety requirements Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality installations

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Solar PV / renewables experience 2391 Inspection & Testing
