The Role

We are currently looking for a Qualified Financial

Accountant

to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and a proactive, client-focused approach. The role will involve working closely with business owners and supporting our small, friendly team in delivering high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and filing of SME year-end accounts Company formations and set-ups Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of management accounts Completion and filing of Self Assessments, VAT returns, and CIS submissions Liaising directly with clients, providing high-quality support and advice Assisting colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the team

Requirements

ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years post-qualification experience Proven experience in a practice environment, working with SMEs Strong working knowledge of UK tax and accounting regulations Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team Proficiency with accounting software packages, ideally Xero
