The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in driving the educational programme while managing daily activities in the nursery setting.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
Lead by example, demonstrating effective teaching practices and supporting fellow staff members.
Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances within the nursery environment.
