Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children's skills and interests. Supervise and support children during playtime, meals, and other daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Collaborate with other staff members to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Assist in managing the nursery's daily operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the space. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide both children and staff. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or excursions. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children.
