Qualified Management Accountant - Financial Services Clients
Central London | Hybrid Working | Top 30 Accountancy Firm | Permanent
An excellent opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join a highly regarded Top 30 practice, supporting a growing portfolio of financial services and FCA-regulated clients. You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering full-service outsourced accounting and advisory support.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of financial services clients, producing accurate management and statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS102).
Prepare and review VAT returns, including complex partial exemption cases.
Advise clients on improving systems, processes, and financial controls.
Review and mentor junior team members, offering constructive feedback and support with their development.
Act as a main point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth delivery and strong relationships.
Contribute to business development by assisting with client proposals and presentations.
Candidate Profile
ACA or ACCA qualified, with experience in preparing management and statutory accounts.
Practice background required.
Strong grasp of UK GAAP (FRS102) and VAT principles.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Competent user of accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, and confident with Excel.
Enjoys taking ownership, mentoring others, and delivering a high standard of client service.
