Join Our Team at Sunny Day's Nursery!

We're on the lookout for a passionate Level 3 qualified practitioner to become part of our friendly nursery team here at Sunny Day's Nursery

What We're Looking For:
An amazing nursery nurse with the following:

-A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in children's care and development (or equivalent).
- A clear enhanced DBS check (don't worry, we'll sort this for the right candidate).
- Two positive references.

A Bit About Us:

Sunny Day's Nursery is a welcoming and friendly place for up to 57 little ones each day. We're tucked away on Chester Green in Derby and have been part of this lovely community since 2015. We're proud to have received a 'Good' rating from OFSTED in 2023!

We have three wonderful units for our children: -
-Babies - Under 2 years (15 places)
- Toddlers - 2 to 3 years (20 places)
- Preschool - 3 to 5 years (22 places)

Our nursery includes a sensory room filled with interactive equipment and engaging tactile toys, plus a lovely garden where children can play, run, and climb.

Your Role:

As a nursery nurse, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting little ones aged 3 months to 5 years!
Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:
- To work in partnership with parents and provide outstanding care to our children
- To be a keyworker to a group of children and take care of their daily needs
- Update our families using our Famly app with photos, observations and general day to day recording
- Plan engaging activities that spark their creativity
- Helping with mealtimes and toileting when needed.
