Responsibilities

Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery to promote a positive learning environment. Provide high-quality childcare, ensuring the safety and welfare of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships and support children's development. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, tailored to the individual needs of each child. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to senior staff. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and maintain high standards of care. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on the best outcomes for children.

Skills

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly with children and parents. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills that foster positive interactions with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children is crucial.
