Job Description

We are looking for a qualified nursery nurse to join the friendly team at our Flowery Field Hyde nursery. The full time position is 40 hours per week. Part time hours on a job share 2.5 days would be considered

Children 4 Most Flowery Field is a 76 place nursery for children from 6 months to five years and is situated in a setting with lots of outside space and on site parking.

The Criteria for the position is:

Need to hold a childcare qualification to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and have at least one year nursery experience.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ABOVE QUALIFICATION AS WE DO NOT EMPLOY UNQUALIFIED STAFF.

UNFORTUNATELY A TEACHING ASSISTANT QUALIFICATION WOULD NOT QUALIFY YOU FOR THIS ROLE.

To provide the children with a safe, secure and home like environment.

Have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Operate a key worker system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff.

Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group and each individual child's needs and interests.

Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team,

Be flexible and creative and have the commitment to provide first class childcare.

Have good organisational skills.

Have the ability to promote good practice in a professional manner.
