We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Applicants should have previous experience with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.

Responsibilities



Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery setting Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication Implement nursery policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and social skills among children Organise and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities Support the management team with daily operational tasks as required Assist with organising transportation or outings that require driving responsibilities

Skills



Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare environment Strong management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks and best practices Ability to organise activities that promote learning through play Reliable driving skills supported by a valid driving licence (desirable) Compassionate nature with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood development Organised approach to record keeping and administrative tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 18,315.00-26,373.68 per year
