We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Support the implementation of nursery policies and procedures related to health, safety, and wellbeing.
Assist in organising outings or excursions in accordance with safety guidelines.
Contribute to the organisation of the nursery environment to ensure it is welcoming, safe, and stimulating.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance childcare practices and early childhood education knowledge.
Qualifications
A fun & dynamic character
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
Experience with child development assessment tools is advantageous.
A caring attitude combined with patience, creativity, and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
