We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages learning through exploration and play
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in accordance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines and special events within the nursery
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development and behaviour
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential
Knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and early childhood development principles
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with organising activities that support children's learning through play
Valid driving licence is desirable
