Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team.

18-20 hours a week can be offered permenently with the option to do more hours on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development. Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods, ensuring a structured environment. Ensure the nursery is a safe and clean space by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team atmosphere. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma). Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.

Pay: 11,512.00-12,792.00 per year
