Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery is a nurturing children's nursery located in Waverton, Chester. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood education experience that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Summary

Due to increasing numbers, we are seeking a passionate qualified Nursery Practitioners to become part of our team here at Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery.

In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, supporting their developmental milestones and fostering a love for learning.

This is a full time or part time role working between 3 - 4 days per week. Hours of work are 8am - 6pm.

Please note we are not on a bus route so you must be able to reliably travel to the nursery each day.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. Provide high-quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is essential. Childcare or Early Years Qualification (NVQ Level 2 or Level 3) Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A passion for childcare and supporting children's growth.
