Summary
Position is term time based, full and part time hours considered. Relevant qualifications to a full Level 3 standard in childcare is required along with a DBS check and a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Outline of the job
The Key Person role:
Undertake all related responsibilities in building relationships with children and their families in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the capability to record accurate and effective assessments which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development of the child. Good oral and written communication skills are essential to the role.
Safeguarding:
Promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child safeguarding and protection policies.
Ensure policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines.
Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is maintained at all times.
