Little Hedgehogs is currently looking for to recruit two qualified practitioners, either part-time or full-time, to join the existing professional and friendly team, providing high quality care for children aged 3 months to 4 years. Our full-time position is 8am-5.30pm Monday - Friday. Our Part-time positions will vary.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Provide care and education in our safe, warm and stimulating environment for all the children in our care.

- Provide familiar routines, stimulating educational play and other child-based activities.

- Gain knowledge & experience to contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of our early years curriculum, along with key children planning to meet individual needs and interests.

- Work in partnership with parents and team members.

Qualifications and Skills

A full and relevant level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, as per the Government qualification list found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england

- A full enhanced DBS or willing to have one carried out

- An enthusiastic, calm and caring nature and able to work as part of a small close team

- Be very personable and feel confident in working with young children

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to 30,000.00 per year
