Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality childcare and support to children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and organised at all times. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive working atmosphere.

Experience



Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Proven ability to manage groups of children effectively while demonstrating strong leadership skills. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development is crucial.
