Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations regarding health and safety in the nursery.

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs. Driving skills may be beneficial for transporting children or materials as required.
