We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner at Level 3 or 2 to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and growth through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and parents.
Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
Manage daily routines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain high standards of care and education.
Lead small groups in educational activities, encouraging participation and engagement.
Support children in developing their independence and social skills through guided play.
Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
A qualification in Early Childhood Education at Level 3 or 2.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment.
Strong leadership skills to guide both children and fellow practitioners effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a busy nursery setting.
A drive to continually improve practices within the nursery for the benefit of the children's learning experiences.
